Even giving birth by cesarean section has occurred more frequently than abortion.
She opposes late term abortions
previously attributed to Paul Harvey, but was written in 1996 by Bob Russell
for a Kentucky Governor's
Prayer Breakfast, then delivered by Rev. Joe Wright at the Kansas House of Representatives.
Why would a true Christian twist the truth?

Outspoken Christian Texas Governor, Rick Perry, has more pants on fire claims than any other top elected official. Click here to see PolitiFact summary and some of those boldface lies.
The GOP-controlled House did approve, then later remove a bill, that would require rape victims who claimed a medical expense deduction for an abortion, to explain the deduction to the
IRS only if her return were audited for some other reason, and only if
medical expense deductions came into question.
The scouts' advocacy guide includes some quotes by or info about famous women, but none of the guide's 50-some biographical blurbs mentions any woman's
activism per abortion as a reason for singling her out. Abortion is not
mentioned elsewhere in the guide, either.
Angeletti's strong political statement against Christian and University values by having students pledge allegiance to a racist, homophobic, sexist America that is in the name of Jesus, that hates Communists and women who want to get abortions.
This email implies that UT students were hustling up support for legalizing infanticide and child
killings. In reality, a visitor briefly collected signatures one day,
almost like attempting a trick.
Planned Parenthood’s annual report show that the agency
conducted 1.1 million pregnancy tests, 3.7 million tests for
sexually transmitted diseases, prenatal services, and childbirth classes, among other services, but the agency does not track abortion numbers. The Bishop's figures have no factual basis.
PolitiFact cites done by both pro- and anti-abortion rights groups that back up this claim.
The latest academic study shows that nearly all
women proceed with an abortion
even after seeing the ultrasound.
That’s not the case -- Planned Parenthood saw 2.7 million patients in
2013, not the 39 million it would have needed to see for Reid’s claim to
be accurate. Even if every Planned Parenthood patient had no other
health care options, the group would have seen about 2 percent of women,
not 30 percent.
In 2013, he co-sponsored the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act,
which was meant to prohibit abortions of unborn children more than 20
weeks into a pregnancy. It would have allowed exceptions in rape or
incest or if the life of the mother was threatened. He refused to say if he would let a woman die rather than abort.
More commonly, parents by law need to be at least notified -- and in
many cases give their consent -- for a minor to have an abortion. There
is a significant exception, however: 37 states allow a minor to go
through a judge without notifying parents. As for tattoos, most states
either ban them for minors or require parental consent.
In an effort to debunk defenders that Planned Parenthood provides
essential women’s health services in addition to abortions, an
anti-abortion group claimed that none of the organization’s clinics is
licensed to provide mammograms. Planned Parenthood physicians do however perform the clinical exams that lead to
referrals for a mammogram or other specialized care.
During an anti-abortion rant to defund Planned Parenthood, Leigh Anne Woods walked up the podium and took her shirt off saying,
“You have a problem because they perform abortions, look at everything else they do, they save lives!” Woods said.
“It’s more than birth control,” she insisted. “It’s more than abortion. They save lives.”
Until now the Catholic Church taught that abortion is such a grave sin that those who procure
or perform it incur an automatic excommunication. Only
designated clergy and missionaries were allowed to formally forgive abortions. Priests may grant absolution between Dec. 8, 2015 to Nov. 26, 2016. Francis described the "existential and moral ordeal" faced by women who have terminated pregnancies.
Setting abortion procedures aside -- Planned Parenthood offered more
than 10 million services in 2013. Those services included contraception,
breast exams, pregnancy tests, pap tests and STI/STD testing and treatment.
Abortions were already declining.
So, half this claim draws on cherry-picked statistics from Abbott and the other half
lacks factual backup
The statement is inaccurate.
In fact, there were three times as many cancer screenings and prevention
services as abortions in 2013.
Richards made no such admission, even though she was grilled for 5 hours and not allowed to answer questions before the September 29, 2015 U.S. House hearing on Planned Parenthood. The Conservative talk radio host Dana Loesch, served as a foil the claim that just 3 percent of it’s services are abortion-related.
Planned Parenthood’s most common pregnancy services in 2013 were
pregnancy tests (1.1 million services); HIV tests (704,000 services); emergency contraception kits (1.4
million services) and Pap tests (378,692 services). No federal money has paid for any abortion services, and there’s been no confirmation it sells
body parts for profit.
On 1/25/2016 a Houston grand jury cleared Planned Parenthood of allegations that they
sold organs of aborted fetuses, and instead
indicted the undercover videographers behind the allegations on charges of using fake driver's licenses and violating
Texas' law against the purchase and sale of human organs- the very law they tried to bring against against PP.
