NO! Not at all! Politicians often use the Bible for political gain and are not interested in the truth. They look for an
ancient sound bite to convince people of whatever they already believe. Read More...

The GOP-controlled House did approve, then later remove a bill, that would require rape victims who claimed a medical expense deduction for an abortion, to explain the deduction to the
IRS only if her return were audited for some other reason, and only if
medical expense deductions came into question.
The scouts' advocacy guide includes some quotes by or info about famous women, but none of the guide's 50-some biographical blurbs mentions any woman's
activism per abortion as a reason for singling her out. Abortion is not
mentioned elsewhere in the guide, either.
Federal data shows 62% of people who earn the
federal minimum wage or below are women, however this doesn't account for women in states with a higher
One study says that if the federal government raises the minimum wage
to $10.10 an hour, women will benefit more than men by a 55-45 percent
Carter says, "There's no evidence at all that Jesus Christ did anything except to exalt women."
Recent data shows that women pay
from 40 to 69 percent more out of pocket for health care than men do.
The Christian-owned company did previously offer insurance plans that
included coverage of a few contraceptives at issue in the case, namely
morning-after pills, but reports suggest owners weren't aware they
offered that coverage.
Few Americans have paid maternity leave. The rest of the developed world has at least
some paid benefits, but many developed countries still have inferior benefits.
Davis and Abbott are opponents for Governor of Texas. In the case which went all the way to the Supreme court, then-Justice Abbott ruled, "the manufacturer had no duty, to be precise." However Abbott did imply that local distributors had responsibility to check the
background of applicants.
Nonprofits as Catholic schools and hospitals can opt out of covering birth
control by notifying the Department of Health and Human Services of
their objections. A
third-party insurer will pay for and administer the coverage so that women still receive the contraceptive
coverage guaranteed to them by the Affordable Care Act.
Although Republicans have tried to improve outreach to female voters,
women still believe the party is "stuck in the past" and "intolerant." This study was commissioned by two conservative groups.
Rush Limbaugh is so sick of the "modern" definition of consent. He says new rape definitions are just lawsuits in the making. Defining sex as rape when a woman says "No" is "just crazy talk." This definition of rape "sucks all the fun out" of sex. See video
During the Sept. 11 pregame broadcast, Brown urged men to learn "what healthy, respectful manhood is all about"
and to "give help or to get help, because our silence is deafening and
deadly." Domestic violence experts confirm his claim.
This organization, supported by an extensive list of notable Republican politicians and public servants, has posted an impressive statement called, Why Sam Brownback’s Policies are Taking Kansas in the Wrong Direction.
They say these Republican policies have caused deficit spending, drastic cuts in education and highway spending, hurt job growth, benefited special interests at the expense of the people, and downgrades Kansas character and creates embarrassing headlines.
Adams, Co-Founder and Co-Director of Emerge, an abuser education program, says common excuses are: "Alcohol made me do it," "She provoked me," or "I lost control," or "I was under a lot of stress." Even victims may believe the excuse. Society must be clear that there is no excuse for abuse.
Scores of young women were kidnapped from a mountain village October 18, 2014 in new abductions by Islamist militants. There were similarities to the abductions last April of more than 200 Chibok schoolgirls. This sheds doubt on a deal that promised the return of the first girls.

responsibility to act as if the brave survivors of sexual assault are
our sons, our daughters, our husbands and our lives who are being
betrayed by the greatest military on earth.
Angeletti's strong political statement against Christian and University values by having students pledge allegiance to a racist, homophobic, sexist America that is in the name of Jesus, that hates Communists and women who want to get abortions.
This email implies that UT students were hustling up support for legalizing infanticide and child
killings. In reality, a visitor briefly collected signatures one day,
almost like attempting a trick.
Warner says women students on college campuses are more likely to be
sexually assaulted than their peers who don’t seek a higher education. The
researchers acknowledged shortcomings with their methodology and said
their conclusions were "suggestive."
A well-respected survey by the CDC found that 19.3 percent of women
reported experiences that are considered to be rape or attempted rape
under the survey’s guidelines.
Planned Parenthood’s annual report show that the agency
conducted 1.1 million pregnancy tests, 3.7 million tests for
sexually transmitted diseases, prenatal services, and childbirth classes, among other services, but the agency does not track abortion numbers. The Bishop's figures have no factual basis.
The number comes from the 2011 National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey
, which was released in September 2014 by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, showing that 19.3 percent of women reported experiences that are
considered to be rape or attempted rape under the survey’s guidelines.
Like most victims Madonna, 56, couldn't speak publicly about the rape for over three decades because it was too painful. She told Howard Stern
that ape is one of the most grossly underreported crimes in the United States
. According to RAINN
— the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network — 68 percent of sexual
assaults are not reported to police, and there are about 293,000 victims
Michelle Obama's inspiring 2015 Commencement address to Tuskegee Graduates, reveals the personal struggles that she has faced, and how she learned to not let them define her, change who she is, or hold her back. Full Speech
PolitiFact cites done by both pro- and anti-abortion rights groups that back up this claim.
The latest academic study shows that nearly all
women proceed with an abortion
even after seeing the ultrasound.
That’s not the case -- Planned Parenthood saw 2.7 million patients in
2013, not the 39 million it would have needed to see for Reid’s claim to
be accurate. Even if every Planned Parenthood patient had no other
health care options, the group would have seen about 2 percent of women,
not 30 percent.
In 2013, he co-sponsored the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act,
which was meant to prohibit abortions of unborn children more than 20
weeks into a pregnancy. It would have allowed exceptions in rape or
incest or if the life of the mother was threatened. He refused to say if he would let a woman die rather than abort.
Following the GOP debate where Trump jabbed at Megan Kelly, Trump told CNN,"You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of her wherever." He was promptly dumped from a keynote speaking role at a major Conservative rally. Trump's response is more insulting on twitter
In an effort to debunk defenders that Planned Parenthood provides
essential women’s health services in addition to abortions, an
anti-abortion group claimed that none of the organization’s clinics is
licensed to provide mammograms. Planned Parenthood physicians do however perform the clinical exams that lead to
referrals for a mammogram or other specialized care.
During an anti-abortion rant to defund Planned Parenthood, Leigh Anne Woods walked up the podium and took her shirt off saying,
“You have a problem because they perform abortions, look at everything else they do, they save lives!” Woods said.
“It’s more than birth control,” she insisted. “It’s more than abortion. They save lives.”
"The real tragedy is the hypocrisy that so many clergy engage in." "We need to be humble and to embrace our flawed humanity as we seek through our faith and experience to better ourselves." When we truly face our humanity, we will stop pointing the finger at others in order to distract from our own sins.
Until now the Catholic Church taught that abortion is such a grave sin that those who procure
or perform it incur an automatic excommunication. Only
designated clergy and missionaries were allowed to formally forgive abortions. Priests may grant absolution between Dec. 8, 2015 to Nov. 26, 2016. Francis described the "existential and moral ordeal" faced by women who have terminated pregnancies.
Setting abortion procedures aside -- Planned Parenthood offered more
than 10 million services in 2013. Those services included contraception,
breast exams, pregnancy tests, pap tests and STI/STD testing and treatment.
Abortions were already declining.
So, half this claim draws on cherry-picked statistics from Abbott and the other half
lacks factual backup
Trump's assessment of the refugee situation is badly mangled and is conflating two different sets of refugees: Those
534,000 reaching Europe by sea, who are mostly men, and the 4 million
Syrians in U.N. refugee camps, most of whom are women and children.
The statement is inaccurate.
In fact, there were three times as many cancer screenings and prevention
services as abortions in 2013.
Richards made no such admission, even though she was grilled for 5 hours and not allowed to answer questions before the September 29, 2015 U.S. House hearing on Planned Parenthood. The Conservative talk radio host Dana Loesch, served as a foil the claim that just 3 percent of it’s services are abortion-related.
Planned Parenthood’s most common pregnancy services in 2013 were
pregnancy tests (1.1 million services); HIV tests (704,000 services); emergency contraception kits (1.4
million services) and Pap tests (378,692 services). No federal money has paid for any abortion services, and there’s been no confirmation it sells
body parts for profit.
Wages actually have risen for women since Obama took office.
According to the study by PolitiFact, 62.7 percent of minimum wage workers age 16 and
older are women. That’s almost, but not quite, two thirds.
On 1/25/2016 a Houston grand jury cleared Planned Parenthood of allegations that they
sold organs of aborted fetuses, and instead
indicted the undercover videographers behind the allegations on charges of using fake driver's licenses and violating
Texas' law against the purchase and sale of human organs- the very law they tried to bring against against PP.
